FDA confirms elevated levels of belladonna in certain homeopathic teething products

Following its warning on 30 September 2016 that homeopathic teething tablets and gels may pose a risk to infants and children, the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has now announced that its laboratory analysis has found inconsistent amounts of belladonna in certain homeopathic teething tablets on the US market, sometimes far exceeding the amount claimed on the label.
