As the Covid-19 pandemic continues into its third year, the debate about vaccination continues to dominate the media. Recent media coverage, originating in Germany, links practitioners of homeopathy and anthroposophic medicine to the ‘anti-vax’ movement. This Member Alert provides an update on the current debate and gives guidance to members on how to respond.

New resources from Homeopathy Research Institute

Homeopathy Research Institute has relaunched its ‘Research in Focus’ series with a plain language summary of the EPI3 observational study which assessed the real-world impact of homeopathy in France. The External Resources area has also been expanded to include pages on research Guidelines and Assessment Tools.

ECHAMP Position: Vaccination against Covid-19

German parents want more homeopathy for their children

A newly published study finds that homeopathy is the most popular choice for the 40% of parents of children in clinical primary care in Germany who use complementary and integrative medicine at home. Many would like complementary and integrative medicine to be incorporated into clinical primary care.

European Congress for Integrative Medicine 2021 | 4–7 November

This year’s European Congress for Integrative Medicine (ECIM) will take place online from 4–7 November 2021.
