HMPWG has published a consolidated list of stocks for which homeopathic use is justified, incorporating into a single document the 5 lists published over the last four to five years.

A new database portal for complementary medicine, naturopathy and homeopathy from Carstens Foundation gives free access to the largest data collection in this field in Europe, providing a complete record of scientific literature, registered studies, experiments and case histories.

EASAC’s statement seeks to provide a scientific basis for policy making for homeopathic medicinal products in the EU; yet its assessment is based on incomplete knowledge of the current EU regulatory system for these products. Its review of the evidence for homeopathy depends on unreliable reports and studies and contains only second hand scientific analysis.

Media reports on death of child in Italy treated with homeopathy

There has been significant media coverage over the last few days of the death of a seven year old boy in Italy. The media reports that he died of encephalitis (inflammation of the brain) as a result of a serious ear infection treated only with homeopathy.
