The European Commission has published on its website the results of its survey amongst Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SMEs) "Which are the TOP 10 most burdensome EU legislative acts for SMEs?"
The consultation attracted responses from 1000 organisations, including ECHAMP and some of its national members.
Directive 2001/83/EC (Pharmaceuticals) was identified by individual SMEs as number 25 in a list of 35 most burdensome EU legislative acts for EU SMEs.
The Commission will carry out a comprehensive review of the results of the consultation under the EU Regulatory fitness initiative (REFIT) in 2013.
