Oct 11, 2017

Homeopathy Research Institute (HRI) has strengthened its offering by now making available the answers to the most commonly asked questions about homeopathy in Portuguese, Russian, Simplified and Traditional Chinese as well as English, French, German, Italian and Spanish.

  • ‘There is no scientific evidence homeopathy works’
  • ‘There isn’t a single good clinical trial showing homeopathy works’
  • ‘Scientists say homeopathy is impossible’
  • ‘There’s nothing in it – it’s just sugar pills’
  • ‘Homeopathy is just placebo effect’

Homeopathy is a much debated topic  and these all too familiar statements pop up regularly in the media, with strong statements by critics and proponents alike. However, few critics are fully familiar with the facts.

The Homeopathy Research Institute website offers an indepth resources area that provides accurate and reliable information to those who want the facts about homeopathy research. The widely used ‘Frequently Asked Questions’ section takes the most commonplace criticisms of homeopathy and gives clear, evidence-based answers to the most commonly repeated statements about homeopathy.

The newly expanded range of translations means that up-to-date, quality information is now available to stakeholders, policy makers and decision takers in the health field across the globe. Translation of this valuable resource has been part supported by ECHAMP, to help ensure informed debate about homeopathy and well-informed decisions based on accurate and reliable information.
